I am in Nante and I just adore it! It is sooo cute and most importantly right after we arrived I turned my computer on and searching for internet just for kicks and we have some! Our hotel has wireless for free! That is unheard of. It is only the second hotel of the whole tour that has had it! So that is really thrilling. I got to send out my update and get my blogs up right away which made me happy.
After that I went out with Brittany, Joelle, Liz, and Janessa. On the walk there I saw what looks like the LU cookie factory. I need to investigate more though. I don’t think that it is still an acting factory but I am intrigued none the less. I went for a walk through old town which is filled with stores and cafes. It is so cute and quaint. It put me in such a good mood! It is adorable. It has the same French feel that really appreciate about
This morning I went for a run. I passed the Chateau des ducs de Bretagne which still has a moat!, the Cathedrale Saint Pierre which looks like Notre Dame's twin, and then to Jardin des plantes. It was the prettiest run I have had in awhile. In Paris we were too far from all the jardins so I didn't have any really scenic runs. It is super cold out here though. It is the first week it has really been super cold. It seems cold enough to snow so I really hope I get to see some. I'm jealous of home being covered in snow!

Nantes décrite comme ville la plus habitable en tout de l'Europe, parfois appelé Venise de l'ouest, aussi bien que la ville la plus verte en France. Nantes apprécie tout à fait une histoire, fondée par le Gauls, envahi par le Romans, Saxons, Britanniques, contreseings, les Normands, OH mon. Elle me frappe en tant qu'éléments idiots aux USA qui exigent l'anglais seulement, quand à Nantes on trouve Gallo, Breton, anglais et Français et signes bilingues de plus en plus communs, Breton/Français. Brittany a été coupé en cinq provinces au 18ème siècle avec Nantes dans méridional la plupart de région (Loire-Atlantique) se trouvant séparé. Il y a soutien fort de réunification. Le tout premier transport public provenu à Nantes (1826) et apprécie aujourd'hui le plus grand système de tramway en France. Jules Verne est né à Nantes. Il a passé ses étés avec son frère et ils loueraient souvent un bateau pour un franc par jour pour explorer le Loire. La rumeur l'a eu ce rêve de Jules ainsi de l'exploration qu'à un jeune âge il a arrimé loin sur un bateau, limite pour les Indes, mais son aventure s'est raccourcie en tant que son père l'a attendu au prochain port. Il y a un musée de Jules Verne à Nantes. Les centaines à Nantes plaisante ont protesté l'arrivée de la nouvelle année décembre 31, 2006 ne chantant "non à 2007," et "est maintenant meilleur!" Les protestataires ont pétitionné pour un moratoire le futur. Sur l'arrivée de 2007, les protestataires non encouragés, "non à 2008!" Le passé a volé loin, le mois à venir n'existe pas, nôtres est seulement le point minuscule du présent.
