I finally ate a really awesome meal here. There is a Chinese restaurant in the hotel which I had yet to try because in general I am not the biggest Chinese food fan. People had raved about it so we tried it tonight and it was the best thing I’ve ate since I’ve been here! I just got stir fried noodles with vegetables but man was it tasty. Looks like I will be a regular patron to the Meishi Restaurant now!
Other things I find scrumptious here include the juices. They have amazing fresh squeezed/pressed juice that are super thick and have chunks of real fruit in them. Mangoes are grown widely here so it is one of the most prominent flavor that I just adore. They also have awesome orange and strawberry juices that I’ve had. They also have really awesome feta cheese. It comes in a carton and is a block of cheese but it isn’t crumbly like at home. It is more like cream cheese consistency so you spread it on bread.

Yeah, they had really good Chinese food in Mauritius too...I feel like it's just better in other countries.
