Written on Thursday, November 22, 2007 I had to work today. It is really weird not being home for holidays. It didn’t even feel like Thanksgiving. I kept forgetting it was even today. After the shows we had a dinner…..at 11 pm at night! I was skeptical because it was at our hotel’s restaurant and our hotel is not the nicest of an establishment but it turned out to be decent. It was no home-cooking but they tried to make it feel a little like home by the way they served us. They gave us our plate with turkey on it and then put out the rest of the fixing on the table to help yourself. It was a nice touch to make it feel more like we were at home and not at a restaurant.
