Poppies are everywhere.

So you know how big the Livestrong bracelets got to be? Well over here there is a poppy craze going on. They are everywhere! Almost everyone has one pinned to their jacket or shirt and all the buildings and lampposts here in Birmingham have giant size poppies adorning them. I hadn’t a clue what they represented so I asked a random guy in a café who was sporting one. He informed me that they are to honor war victims, specifically WWII. When we went to Warwick Castle, Todd, our financial controller bought me and everyone else one. So I now fit in and have a poppy on my coat!
